This dance piece was inspired by Filipino culture and visual motifs. As the costume maker, I took dancers’ measurements and ran the fittings as well as produced samples of the motifs and calculated how many layers of fabric would be needed before making the patterns, sewing and creating the stitched shapes on the four designs.
